Hi, I wonder if anyone can give me information?
My wife did the outland sponsorship for me in May 2018, She was approved as a sponser in August 2018 and I was requested for Medical Exam which I did it in the end of August 2018 then I got an email on 5th of September that my file was transformed from Jordan to Romania!

Anyone has similar expirence with Romania Office? Why they transformed my file? How long will it take to request my passort?

Why did it go from Jordan to Romania?? Was it transferred from Mississauga to Jordan first??

Medical passed and SA letter received in the beginning of July. After that radio silence, I have no updates, no AOR 2, no notifications about file transfer to local VO. It has been 2.5 months with no updates.
Anyone in the same situation? I am wondering if I should contact a MP.

Hey I sent my application package and it was received Sept 09 2018. UPS asked what department it's going to and they only gave me two option A. Grants and B. PR CARD so I chose PR Card. Of course now I realized that it should've been "spouse sponsorship" I double checked it is the same building just different department.
Should be worried about this?
I called CIC and they said it depends who opens the package they may send it to the correct department or send it back :/ and it may take up to 2 months for someone to open the package...
What do you guys think I should do?

Hey!
I would advise you to call IRCC 1-888-242-2100 if you are calling from within Canada and ask about your file. Since your file has not been transferred to your VO, they would be able to answer your questions and let you know what might be holding it back. Also, have u linked your application on GCkey? No update on ECAS online tool either? You should also check your spam/junk emails on the email you provided...for many people, they found the email in that section which can easily be over looked. Hope this helps.

I'm sponsoring my husband from Dubai ! We are both Palestinians! I thought applicants from the Middle East get transfer to visa office in London! That's what happened in our case ! I'm not sure why Romania !?

2. We started processing your application on June 18, 2018.
3. We sent you medical instructions on June 21, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received

No, it does not say that on ECAS. Last message on ECAS is medical results received, and it was in the beginning of July.

Thank you. I am outside Canada so I was trying to figure out how to call them, but today I found a way. Unfortunately, I was unable to talk to an agent, they are always busy and can not transfer my call.
Yeah, I have linked it on GCkey, but no updates there too, they have not started the BGC yet.
I wonder if my application will be processed in Mississauga or for some reason they are holding it back.
