Is receptionist eligible for PR?

I am currently working as a receptionist in a very big transportation company in Ontario. Which NOC category does it comes under in this province. Can i apply under express entry as a receptionist. If not what should i do?

The EE system does not reject people by profession. You can apply for EE regardless of the job your do. The first thing to do is an English Language Test. You should also consider getting any educational qualifications you have evaluated. Unless you do these 2 things you can't set-up an EE profile.

Part of the eligibility for EE IS based on occupation which must be in skill level O, A or B.

You're right. That's a NOC C job hence cannot be used as valid work experience for EE.

Your job description would have to match the NOC. For example, you could not say that you are an Administrative Officer - but you may be able to say that you are an Administrative Assistant.

It is quite common to have a job title which does not match all of the responsibilities of a person. Therefore you have to refer to detailed description of your job and required and then do a match.

I've seen people having a job title Assistant Manager qualifying as Project Manager, as its just the company who he worked for preferred to name employees Assistant managers who assisted the development team to manage the project.

So... who knows what may be with your job title and R&R.

As far as i know there is no requirement for salary minimum. As long as you can provide reference and the employment was paid (any amount) it will be considered skilled.
