I just got a email that my father needs further additional test. I am so worried.. did anyone receive that before? I need some information regarding that.

Hello i did too several test, still waiting for the final decision. In my ecas (online status) says medical result have been recevied now. Do you have what as status?

i suppose a strange mail i received yesterday;
I got a letter from CIC stating that my application will be processed in Ottawa.

the online status for the approval and the pr states "Decision Made" have also got a pre approval services mail;
what are the pending actions still on the application ?

you got approved for your parents permanent residence application, you will receive a letter to ask for sending passport to Ottawa= your visa office.

Yep, we have 501 complete on first page and the second page has all these 502, and others as referred or required and not complete.

My apologies for the delayed update. But here is my latest update since last time.

IME, PCC and PPR and details of gov. service: Apr 25, 2018
My parents did medicals on May 16th, and medical passed updated on May 20th
We sent all documents including passports on May 24th
DM: June 12th
Passports returned on June 22nd with the Visas.

Also, please correct country of citizenship to Eritrea (not Kenya). Only the VO is Nairobi.

They give you the COMPLETE on the same day? or they issued this few days later?
For us, they had to go to outside clinics to do chest x-ray etc...so I am wondering if that is why.

P.S. Just checked and My CIC Account shows this:
"You passed the medical exam." / phew, so I guess this is one step closer now. Ecas doesn't reflect this yet though. I hope this is from the new medical exam and not the old one which I have been emailing them for a while now which expires in couple months.

Hello everyone !! Looking for some guidance - my husband got an email from
CIC saying he’s been selected to sponsor his parents. However his sponsorship undertaking for me (wife) is still under effect... (which I believe is for 3 years since I became PR) now the question is can I be a co sponsor (signer) when he fills up the form to sponsor his parents ??

That is my guess from what others are posting. Their status changes to STARTED once PCC is received for example...so I guess you can it's in progress since day 1 but not really started

OR

*It should say "processing" like AnNingCanada mentioned and not STARTED probably...

What about Not Applicable after Medical passed??

Are you asking about background check status?

In my parents case the backgroung check status changed to not needed at some pont and then changed to "we are processing your background check"

My Ecas show "Medical received". My CIC account shows, "Medical passed".

Hard to tell what this means. Is this same for everyone?
