Hi Guys,

Is there a thread where I can refer the full details of what is IP1 and IP2?

I would like to know what they mean and the rough timelines.

IP1 and IP2 are not official terminologies. You cannot infer any timelines from it.... Best way is the call IRCC (every 3-4 weeks after you have crossed 2/3 months) and order GCMS notes to know what is going on your file.

If you still think you wanna refer IP1 and IP2 and what it means you can check this: https://immiknowhow.com/2017/07/16/bg-and-medical-status-and-its-meaning-post-aor/

Thanks, What is GCMS notes? Number to call IRCC?
You can speak with the IRCC call center agent. You need to have patience(that's the most important thing) because you may have to call multiple times. You need to have your Application#, UCI#(they may ask for additional verification) handy.

  • Telephone: 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only)
  • Telephone: 1-613 944 4000 (Outside Canada)
Client Support Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays. Services are available in French and English. These are local Cansda

If you are calling from Outside of Canada you can use Google Hangout/Skype. Check the tip on how to call from outside Canada: https://www.immigroup.com/news/how-call-citizenship-and-immigration-canada-outside-canada

If you are living in Canada you can order GCMS notes from: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/ (this service is free) or use getgcms.com to order your notes if you are outside of Canada (this requires some payment).
