Are you going to submit it today? How does that work? Can you send it overnight and then include return envelope?

I submitted an online application from Turkey on July 3. Still no update and it really worries me.

My program will start on August 27. I have already paid for housing, resigned my job.

Everyday I am looking more than ten times at my status on canada.ca which has no updates. Kind of a postmodern way of torturing.

how long is the average processing time in Turkey? These posts in here are all about the Los Angeles office, maybe create a new thread and see whether someone is in a similar situation? I wish you all the best of luck and I hope you will receive your study permit very soon!

I applied online through for the study permit and my file is in the Los Angeles consulate office. I am a jordanian national and an international student in the US. On average do you have an idea how frequent are the approvals and how long does it take. It has been more than 2 months now for my application.

Hi! How long have you been in the US? I read a lot of negative experiences but it seems like several students have gotten their permits this year without any issues. I guess it depends on your letter, studies, financial support, etc. Did you fill out an online inquiry?

I am in the US for more than a year now. Yes, I emailed the consulate in LA and they said it is till being processed. Another issue is that I applied for my wife and daughter for a visitor visa, but they live in a different country so their application is being processed there (in the other country).

Do you have any updates? My study permit aplapplicat is also being processed in Ankara. It's been 17 weeks, no news yet.
