Work experiance Question

Hi,

I have the below work experiance
Canada : 2015 July to 2016 Oct
India : 2016 Oct to 2017 June
Canada : 2017 June - till date.

I was in India for 8 months from Oct 2016. But I was working for the same Canadian client working remotely. Can I show this 8 months exp as working in India or Canada ? Offcourse, I was under Indian payroll for those 8 months. If I say that I was in canada in that time, I will count for 3 years exp

Indian payroll experience can not be disclosed as Canadian work experience.
