what is the difference between background and security check?

I think you mean security screening, security checks are for everyone but security screening are for the lucky few, cos it may take up to more than 1 year to complete...

me too, a little bit worried. I was advised to orger GMS notes as if application doesn't show the progress it doesn't mean its Not actually in progress.
Going to wait for 1 more month and may be order these notes.

are you outland or inland applicant? do you have dependants?

I am an Outland Applicant. I have already applied for the GCMS notes, expecting them on the 1st of September. Do let me know of any progress on your application.

Now they sent me a document to sign & scan back to them...this is all so complicated.

Yes, You need to do this so they can begin the process.... Its pretty straight forward.

How come? Representative represents a person but cannot replace one. The applicant is still entitle to his own application.
