Visa for September 2018 intake!!!

My cousin applied on Jul 31 online SDS for Fall 2018 intake.
Med passed and eligibility review started: both on Aug 8th.
Final decision: under review.

What is your profile ?

I had furnished PTE scores for English proficiency (score 59) and applied online through SDS
Enrolled at Centennial College with work experience in a sector relevant to my program.
70% marks in higher secondary | 59% marks in graduation | 66% marks in latest PGD course.
Gave my medical upfront.
Paid a GIC of 10750 CAD along with first semester fees.
Funded by an Education loan. Furnished all bank records matching with each other, along with my latest ITRs.

will you get the passport back on the same day?

Nope. I submitted the passport yesterday morning (22nd Aug). They have told me to expect in 5-7 days. It can take more, or less time. So basically, it's quite ambiguous.

I guess you made them aware about your previous refusal through your application,which is good ..yeah it comes under background check and they would look for the reason why you got refused or they have already done it that's why it's showing back ground check not applicable ..did you attached any document related to your refusal?

thats not true. let me make is clear to all of you. Back ground check is police clearance which is not required in study permit unless u have a criminal record and u mentioned it on ur application. for the rest even though u mentioned it or no that u got a refusal that wont fall under background check. u will just get a refusal saying that u did not mention u were rejected once and why.

Hey guys
I have a visitor visa for canada, now i have applied for study permit on 18th july and still waiting for this classes starting on 1 september.
Does anyone know do i need to submit my passport or it will stamped with the same visa i already have.

if u applied from canada it is a different situation.Once u get it approved they will sent the permit to u via mail but if u need a visa u will have to pay additional 150 and apply for that.

Hello.. I have applied offline on 20th July at VFS New Delhi, through CANAM for the Concordia University, Montreal, QC (M.Eng- Mechanical Engg.) classes commencing on 4th sept.
Paid 1st-year tuition fee + GIC and attached some liquid funds also.
B.Eng.(M.E.) 2018 pass out with 7.71cgpa(77.1%).
I don't know the category maybe university & I have only tracking number which shows - Your file is being processed at Canada Visa Office, New Delhi
bit worried but I hope we all will get approvals in a couple of days. & plz. help me out with updates. Thank You!

go to cic website and create an account at gckey. link ur application there with the vfs application number provided.u can track ur application from there. let us know what update u have.

i was applied my study visa on 21 july
After dat 13 th august i received e mail from vfs they need further tests of my heart .. at 19 th august i done my re medical so just i want to know they getting me visa if my medical report is okk or they check all documents after see medical report is ok or not ??
Im so confused about dat

they were going through ur medical and thought for a re medical. so ur file is on hold until they get the medical results. Then they will process according to it. So it might take time.

they will check all ur documents including medicals and then give u the visa. All documents mean ur gic,transcripts, English exam, bank statement, 1 year tuition fees if applied under sds and explanation letter. and they will also check if u applied before and got any rejection and if u mentioned it or not.

I was heard VO firstly check ur all documents ,eligibility and application file is completed after if they intrested to give u visa then they call for re medical ... visa approval chances is 99 % after re medical unless not problem in medical
