Dear @legalfalcon,

Thank you so much for all the valuable information that you have been sharing through this platform.

I hope you wouldn't mind answering a few questions that I have in mind. By the way I realize that similar questions have already been asked in the forum, but I am still unsure. So here it goes:

Question-1: I have the following non-Canadian foreign work experiences:

Company A – 2005 – 2010 (5 years)

Company B – 2010 – 2015 (5 years)

Company C – 2015 – 2018 (3 years) (started on 10 August 2015)

Is it okay if I only list my experience in company C in express entry profile? I don’t want to upload any document for company A and company B after receiving ITA. Is that fine and not a misrepresentation? Or should I include all three companies in the express entry (i.e. pre-ITA) profile and move company A and B under personal history after ITA? Which approach is the correct one?

Question-2: I received a promotion in company C. My experience in company C is as follows:

10 August 2015 – 6 February 2017: Contracts Specialist

6 February 2017 – Present: Senior Contracts Specialist (just a simple title change, promotion, no change in roles and responsibilities, increase in salary)

Do I need to have two separate entries for work experience in the express entry profile? (i.e. 1.Contracts Specialist between august 2015-Feb2017, 2. Senior Contracts Specialist Feb-2017-Present), or should I only have one entry with my latest title like (1. Senior Contracts Specialist August 2015-Present)? I will have one single work experience certificate and the letter will mention both of my positions and their respective periods.

Question-3: I have accompanying spouse, who has six years of foreign (non-canadian) experience. Should I mention that in express entry profile or should I say no to work experience question? Is that a misrepresentation? Saying No seems weird to me I am not too comfortable.

Question 4- How is foreign work experience counted? (i.e. does it include the annual leaves etc.?) I have joined my most recent company on 10 August 2015. Today is 21 August 2018 and I have only been away for two-three weeks in a year, which is paid annual leave. It is a full time work (40 hours / week). Does it mean that I have completed three years of foreign work experience for CRS?

Many thanks in advance for your consideration, and I am looking forward to your valuable advice on how to proceed.

Yours truly,

Hey experts,

I am a paper-based PNP applicant, but I am considering EE. My application is in process for almost 19 months now and no end is in sight. I do not know why I am stuck in background check, but I suspect that my dependant's six Canadian visa refusals may have something to do with it.
What are my chances to be held back in EE as well? Is it worth it to submit an EE application?
Sorry if this is the wrong thread.

Yours truly,

I am not legalfalcon, but here is my 2 cents...

1. You get maximum points for 3 years of foreign work exp, which you have with your Company C. You can move the rest of the work history to personal history/activities section and you will not be need to provide any Letter of Reference etc for them. You will not be misrepresenting.
2. Since the NOC for both roles will be the same you can have one entry in the application, mentioning "Contract Specialist further Sr. Contracts Specialist". Regards to the Letter of Reference, I would suggest you to get one letter, mentioning Start and End date(if applicable) for each role and job duties for each. You can if require mention salary for each role.
3. Since your spouse's does foreign work ex will not add any points, you can include her work exp in the personal history section of the EE application. You will not be misrepresenting.
4. In your job offer letter, if your annual leaves are part of standard benefits then it should not be an issue. During this period of vacations you were on the company payrolls, and you were continued to be paid.

Hi @legalfalcon
I really need your advice which would be much appreciated. I am Inland FSW applicant, my AOR April 18th/2018, Med passed and BGC at IP2 since April 23. There is no updates in my application till now. I have applied for GCMS notes at June 25. The case Analyst wrote R10 reccomended to pass. R75 and R76 review required, the PA provided an employment letter not dated , no apparent signature and not able to verify the employer through open google search.
I do not know what should I do now, the employment letter has already the signature of the employer and also stamped, he just didn't write the date next to its signature, so I don't know why he wrote no apparent signature. Moreover, since the pharmacy where I used to work at my back home country does not have a website. The only way to find it on google is to search its name in Arabic (my native language) or to write the provided address on google maps which I already provided on the employment letter. I also provided the telephone number and contact information on the letter.
Should I raise CSE and attach google search links for the pharmacy? or should I wait until they ask for additional documents?
Thanks a lot for your help, your help is really appreciated.
Best regards

@legalfalcon, thanks for offering to help! Great to hear back from you on my request to understand my GCMS notes :) Could you please explain the appended excerpt (image available at the URL provided) and guide me on what the next steps might be? Thanks in advance!!!

https://ibb.co/m6k0Lz

In addition to the excerpt, my assessment section states the following:

ELIGIBILITY: Met
MEDICAL: Passed
CRIMINALITY: Not started
SECURITY: Not started
INFO SHARING: Complete

Also, as mentioned in my signature, my AoR date is 24.06.2018. Besides, I raised the GCMS request via getgcms.com on 24.07.2018 and received the notes on 18.08.2018. Great service and quick turnaround!
Thanks @bimale4bipeople :) I’ve edited the post (as above) to include link with redacted image and deleted the original post to avoid my personal details from doing the rounds! You saved me from a big blooper....

Can you please tell me is it necessary to carry international driving permit when moving to Canada from other country?
Does valid driving licence won't be counted?

Hi @legalfalcon, I put in a request with my visa office in Los Angeles for the urgent processing of the COPR and visa stamping, because I have a medical mission training next month, and I'd need to apply for a visa to attend the training. I included in my messages, the invitation letter from the organization and the flight tickets. I didn't receive a response to any of the messages.

The tracking history for the courier service used, indicated that my passport was delivered to the visa office on August 8. I know that this isn't too long ago from the time I submitted my passport, but I was wondering if there's anything else that I can do to expedite the COPR processing. Thank you so much again for your support.
