My application stuck in background check not started for over 2 months

hi all,
Desperately need some help and advise here.
My application is stuck in background check not started for over 2 months although our medicals were passed within 7 days of filing the papers.
Can someone please advice if this is normal or shall we be worried ?
What can we do about it ?

anything is possible with cic. if you're worried order your gcms notes and/or compare your case with others on immitracker website
