NOC misplaced -How to proceed after CIC ITA

My express entry profile application is being processed through an immigration Consultant. Brunswick nomination on May 2018 and received CIC ITA on May 23, 2018.


I have two work experience with previous employment under NOC 2174 and current employment under the NOC 2173. I applied and received New Brunswick Nomination for NOC 2173. However while preparing to submit the documents to CIC, I found in the Express entry profile that the current employment is mentioned as NOC 2174 and previous as 2173. This is as a result of typo error by the consultant. All my other details are accurate and I have reference letter and employment supporting to prove that my primary NOC is 2173.

Now that my CIC ITA is going to expire in a few days (Aug 22, 2018).

Will IRCC accept my current application with a letter of explanation that the NOC has been misplaced(NOC 2173 and 2174 has similar responsibilities )? Or should I withdraw my current Express entry profile, then create a new profile and request NB government to issue me a nomination to the new EE profile?

Kindly request a quick response as I have only few days left to submit my documents to CIC.

yep that is not an issue. you can always make changes between your EE submission and PR application post ITA. Just explain it in the LOE, you'll be fine as long as you don't become ineligible for some reason (Lower than cut off CRS or EE eligibility to begin with)
