Requirements to uphold after receiving a PR?

Are there any requirements that an immigrant has to uphold after having received a PR? I'm doing research as to anything related to immigration to Canada before I apply.

Can I work in a job that's a separate NOC to what I'm experienced in? Do I need to show my balances at the end of each year? Can I do any job till I find a job in the area that I want?

If there are any requirements/limitations please let me know.

You must meet the Residency Obligation requirements but apart from that, it's pretty much up to you to decide what to do. There is no post-PR follow up.

Thanks for the answers guys. Glad to see there aren't any hidden requirements like my current UK visa has (can't work 1 year long contracts even though I'm self employed, need to earn a certain amount a year to extend my visa, etc.)

That's the visa right?
Visa is travel document and PR is the status. Don't confuse between the twos?

Eh my UK visa is effectively my residence card as well so It's a bit different here I think. If you have a Canadian PR you don't need a visa to enter Canada right?

Nope. But you will need the PR card to travel. That's is your travel document and will need to extend very 5 five years. But you PR status is a different story, it is permanent and will never expire as long as you live in Canada 2 years in any given 5 years.
