Hello everyone,

With Comprehensive Ranking Score of 420, should we wait for the Express entry or apply for PNP. Any advice will be helpful. I'm aware that the crs score for August first week is around 440. Please advice.

Regards,
Ankur

PNP should be your last resort. Many PNP programs require either
1) a job offer from the province, or 2) french language skills, or 3)degree from within the province (or a combination of any of these).

However, if you can maximum your IELTS score (ie. CLB 9 or 10)? IELTS is the easiest controlled way.
Also, see you if you can come to Canada for 1 year diploma (~ costs about 15k plus living expenses). This will sure guarantees you a PGWP which you can use to stay in Canada and be able to work.

One PNP to consider is that of Nova Scotia. If your NOC is on their list of ‘Opportunity Occupations’ you may be eligible without a job offer or any other ties to the province.

This program opens on a periodic basis and is on a first come first served basis.

Another program that does not require a job offer or ties to the province is that for Saskatchewan. They now follow an Expression of Interest system where similar to Express Entry you fill out a profile and are ranked with other candidates and selected periodically by the province.

Good Luck!
