hello friends

I have applied at Carlton univ for winter 2019 (Meng program)

here's my status ....

Preliminary review required ( remained approx a month)
changed to
Recommended for assessment(remained approx 2 months)
changed to
Review in progress by department(remained for 2 weeks)
changed to
Review in progress by Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs

Now , has any one has gone through same no of n status and are there still chances for rejection ..?
This is making me more and more anxious...

Your application is in last stage. Now, it will be finally decided whether university accepts your application or not. Your application has potential that is why it has moved this far. Otherwise, it would have got rejected in previous 3 stages. So be hopeful that they will give you offer. But I will not start celebrations so early. Hold on till the decision comes out.

I just haved sealed transcripts from college and not from university ..my university takes a long time to issue transcripts.
I want to apply for jan 2019 ..anyone know if carleton university accepts college trannccripts.

They are same as university transcripts with grading info n all but it is just issued from college.

Please help.

Also let me know how can i join the watsapp group

While submitting application for admission you don't need sealed transcripts. You just need to scan and upload the transcripts on Carleton's portal. They will provide the necessary detailed instructions on the application process.

Once Carleton offers you admission, then they will provide conditional Letter of Acceptance. That time you will be instructed to send the sealed transcripts. Once they receive and review sealed transcripts, they will provide unconditional Letter of Acceptance.

The sealed transcripts can be from college and not necessarily from University. I hope this helps.

I applied for the Masters of Computer Science in Carleton University on September 7,2018 for Winter 2019 intake, What is the average processing time for this university , and what are the chances of getting admission in this University?

I have scored 7.5 Bands in IELTS, i have 74% overall percentage in Btech(Computer Science) , 70% in 12th

Status remained as preliminary review required for nearly 2 months ,later on it changed to review in progress by department.
However ,till today the status has not changed.

I have pursued my BE in Civil Engineering and my IELTS score is 6.5. I have applied for the course of Meng in Civil Engineering.

You can apply for Sep 2019 in various other universities. This is the right time. Don't delay, apply now and keep some backup.
