WES Evaluation

Hi,

I am planning to get my WES evaluation for my bachelors and masters degree. I have got the transcripts from my university all duly stamped from registrar. I wanted to check how can I send my degree certificate to them. Can I send them a notarized photocopy of it to them?

We just sent a photocopy of the diploma we have at home. No notarization

Thanks for your response. Also they have mentioned that they need to send all the documents directly from the college or can I send it directly after obtaining from them.

I sent it myself. But the envelope was stamped and sealed by the university

Get color copies of your transcripts , get it attested from the respective university, seal it with university stamp, and send it to wes

You can send the envelops received from the university yourself. Also no need to notarize degree certificate.

Thanks a lot. Also one last question. My wife got her WES evaluation for her college degree done via WES USA. Can I use the same report to be send to Canadian immigration?

It's done through wes USA only as far as my knowledge. Every evaluation is valid for 5 yrs from the day it's done, so if that's the case you can use it.

Still confused about why are you doubtful about Wes USA ?

I think it has to be WES Canada for Canadian immigration

Becauae theres a wes canada. The link from the immigration site links to wes canada. Plus not sure if canada and us accredit things the same way. So why take the chance

Oh and you cant send a suplicate copy to ircc from wes usa as far as i know

CIC will look for Canadian Equivalency of your degree. When you get a report from WES canada it shows your degree as it compares to Canada education system. Just read what is written on your report from USA. It would have been compared to USA degree. And hence practically not useful for CIC.
