Dear gurus,
I have received an ITA. In my 5 years of work experience, I spent 1 year trying to setup a startup which unfortunately did not go as planned.
For this period, I do not have salary slips or a boss from whom I can get a roles & responsibilities letter. The business is incorporated as a private limited company, but has no income, and currently has no other employees either.
Luckily, I can make up for my CRS and FSW score based on my job prior to the startup (3 years). As such, I would like to inform the Canadian Embassy that I was self-employed and unable to get R&R letter or paystubs for the startup phase.
What would be the best way to communicate this? Should I attach a letter to the "Employment Records 2 (required)" section explaining the scenario and ask them to focus on the other work experience instead?
In case it's relevant, my country of origin is India.
Looking forward to your help!
Best wishes,
Max
