Hi.
I am Canadian living in Korea.
We are planning to go back to Canada in 2018.
I have applied for the PR visa for my wife (Family class - sponsoring spouse) in 2017.
She has received an e-mail regarding Medical examination on December 01, 2017, but she just checked that e-mail today (Jan. 4th, 2018).
We are concerned because the instruction says that the medical examination should be performed within 30 days of the date of this letter, but we already missed the due date.

She will make an appointment for the medical examination ASAP.
Meanwhile we want to inform the IRCC office that my wife needs some more time to submit the Medical examination report according to the Instruction, but not sure how.
There is no telephone number or e-mail address provided - only the following mailing address
*******************
Application for spouses, common-law partners or conjugal partners and dependent children (currently living outside Canada):
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6
*******************

Should we inform through a mail? I guess it will be slow and I am not even sure if it is a correct way.

In summary, I have two questions.
1. Is it still OK to miss the medical examination by several weeks?
2. how can we inform the IRCC office regarding our delay? Is there e-mail address? or should we inform through a traditional mail or courier service?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Assuming her application is still in Mississauga and has not been transferred to the VO, the only way you can let them know is through the IRCC web form by submitting a case specific enquiry (CSE). It should be fine. Being a few days late or a week late is not the end of the world, if you were much later than that it might be worrisome. Do submit a CSE ASAP letting them know the date you will be completing the medical.

Hello, I'm Korean living in Canada :)

I have something similar status.... so I'm also about to submit the CSE form but I have no idea which category I need to select..

Would it be technical difficulties or something else??

I was also wondering if IRCC accepted your enquiry like doing medical exam a little late

I hope you see this and answer this one

Thank you!!

Hi

If you have to select a category, there should be an option like "update app" or something.

Provided you let them know it will be delayed before your deadline expires, there will be no issue.

The correct option on the drop down is "sponsorship"

HI

First, you should've got reminder mail to do medical test because you didn't send anything... this kind of maill might be sent on the end of June.. usually after a month , so check it there is a probably solution

And actually, I didn't try that CSE form... I luckily got a chance to do medical test.... To be honest, I dont know Sorry....

Hi.
Yes, I resolved the problem.
I did not send an email or called IRCC.
Instead, I have informed the IRCC by submitting a case specific enquiry (CSE) as advised above.
You can google to know how to do it.
