Hi,

I have been invited to apply for PR.
While entering data for 'Work History', I have to give Role, NOC and Company to show my work history. I have worked in the only one company throughout and have had 2 role changes with two different NOCs.

Below is my experience:

Company A
Role 1 - NOC 2132 (Aug 2010 - Jan 2013)
Role 2 - NOC 2132 (Jan 2013 - Sep 2014)
Role 3 - NOC 2171 (Oct 2014 - Present) (This will be my main NOC)
My Questions:
1. Do I need to add 3 different rows for each Role in my PR application? If I do so, I would need to submit 3 separate work reference letters which is a pain as 1st two roles are very similar.
2. OR, Can I only add One row in my PR application, as it is a single company I am working for the whole time, and then have it all explained in a LOE and the work reference letter describing each role?
3. OR, should I add 2 rows for each NOC I have? I can have 2 separate work reference letters for this.

4. Also, Do I qualify for CIC PR as my latest NOC 2171 is for greater than 3 years 10 months (and not 4 years)?

Any guidance and help will be much appreciated!

If first two roles are similar why do you have two different NOCs. Generally you will have one row for each NOC. You can provide same letter as proof for all rows with the letter having job responsibilities for each role explained in reference letter. You can then further explain in LOE that you did all three roles in same company and hence only one letter

Hi Cansha,

First two roles have same NOC, but when i made an entry i made it for two roles in spite of it being same NOC... As you suggested I will explain in the LOE stating the same and I will upload the same document to both first two roles along with salary slips to further proof it. I have another letter for the third role having different/current NOC. Is that ok according to you?

In all cases you can add the same letter of reference for both if it contains information relating to all of them

Hi,

Follow up to the above question:

In my current role in my company - I have worked in India and also twice at onsite in Sweden. Under work experience section - should I state separate rows to mention Sweden experience - is it required to mention change of country even though the job role and NOC is same?

Below is my experience:

Company A
Role 1 - NOC 2132 (Aug 2010 - Jan 2013) ; Location = India
Role 2 - NOC 2132 (Jan 2013 - Sep 2014) ; Location = India
Role 3 - NOC 2171 (Oct 2014 - Present) (This will be my main NOC) ; Location = India and Sweden (due to 2 countries am i supposed to create a new row)??
