I got visa for this September intake for MGM program in Royal Roads university .
Is anyone heading towards to Victoria this September , please do comment here :)

Hi,

Could you please let me know the approximate time taken by them to give you your unconditional offer (i mean not the acceptance letter which one gets after successful GIC proof+Tuition Fee Submission etc.). Am just taking an idea since i had applied in the first week of June 2018 for the September 2018 intake for the same program i.e. MGM and am still awaiting the result for my final university assessment or unconditional offer letter after the second conditional offer letter, which i had received within the mid of June approx, from when i had applied for the same.

I didn’t get you actually what letter are you talking about ?
We get a LOA which we needs to attach with our visa application .
What conditions are pending on you LOA ?

And if you have cleared your conditions and waiting for unconditional letter then they take about 2 weeks I believe and if you want it get done bit earlier then talk to the admissions department and explain them your situation.
You yet to apply visa or you got it ?

Bro.. you seems a right person from whom I could ask my query. I am also planning to pursue Master of Global Management from Royal Roads University, bro can you please confirm, in how many days did you receive your offer letter or LOA from Uni. after applying?

Secondly, what is the total tuition and fees mentioned on the offer letter (please confirm the fees by semester vise and also confirm the living expenses mentioned on the LOA?

Moreover, bro how much liquid funds did you show in the embassy? Also, did you attach the GIC certificate also with your study visa application.

I am asking these questions just because I also want to make my case stronger because unfortunately I have earlier got Visa refusals multiple times :(


I would request you humbly to answer my queries. Bro sorry to disturb you but please help.

First of all, I’m not bro & I’m sister :D
It took around a month for admission process. I got it done through a consultant & also paid first semester fees I.e., 5000 CAD and then got the official LOA
And don’t worry about the previous rejections as I got visa in second time :)
And please do order CAIPS NOTES to know the exact rejection reason and then apply will full preparation.
Now as per IRCC guidelines, university mentions per annum estimate for the tuition fees which show 27k CAD but for whole program it’s around 32k CAD
You have to go for GIC for 10,000 CAD for your one year living expenses which will ultimately increase your chances of getting visa.
Yes, i did GIC & also attached the certificate with my application !!
I showed 14.5lacs in my account, GIC and statements of my husband & brother who live in USA .
Let me know if you need any further details :)

Firstly, thanxxx a ton dear for your kind revert. I knew, you would be the right person who could answer my queries amicably.

Dear, if am getting right, university mentions the annual estimate $27k in the Offer letter which covers tuition fees and living expenses then it means the expenses for the whole program is approx $54,000 including everything. However, the tuition & fees for the program (Master of Global Management) is $32,000 not $54,000, and the first semester fees is only 5000 CAD. Am I right.???

Moreover, how much application fee university charges in order to apply for offer letter..?? And would it take approx. one month in issuing an offer letter...??

And pertaining to GIC, Even I did attach the certificate in the visa application when I applied recently. Besides, I showed 27 lakh in my elder brothers account and that too funds was more than an year older, nonetheless, I got the refusal... :( And the reason mentioned on refusal letter is "Insufficient Funds", what I believe that I must have showed that funds in my father's account not in brother's accnt. Did you show that 14.5 lkhs in your own account or any others accnt and was it fresh funds or not...??

You are absolutely right I should order CAIPS notes, do you have any suggestions regarding website from where I could order because I don't know acquaintances living in Canada. And dear what was your actual reason behind the refusal which you got the first time...???

I know, I'm disturbing you but I really appreciate because you replied. Because at this point of time, I certainly need someone's assistance.
