COPR First landing - Transiting question

Hi there,
I just gotten my COPR (self employed class) and the destination is from Malaysia to Calgary. Question is for first landing, should I buy air ticket and check in via Calgary (1 stop), or can I use (2stops) as in coming in from Vancouver then Calgary? (because of limited choices of tickets. Any differences in terms of questioning or interview or any rules I should be aware of? Thanks so much!

Your port of entry is where you do first landing in canada.. i would say just do calgary better option

I have not checked specifically other than from the US very few international flights land directly into Calgary so your choice will probably be limited as opposed to via Vancouver or a Toronto.
