Has anyone had the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)assessed? Could you state what it was assessed as and by whom?

Certified internal auditor is considered as bachelors by WES? Can you please clarify, since I thought it is not even considered equal to a certificate. Thanks in advance

I contacted the IIA and was told they do not issue transcripts for CIA. So I'm not sure what document was submitted for those who have gotten CIA assessed.

Are you certain about this? He was not alluding to the Chartered Accountancy course from India, but the Certified Internal Auditor certification !

I think he was quite clear that it was CIA.

I haven't had my CIA assessed as I was told by The IIA that they do no issue transcripts. Given this is a required document for evaluation, I figured I wouldn't bother to send it for evaluation.

I included CIA on my WES credentials besides other degrees, later got informed by The IIA that they would not send any report/ transcript to third parties (as expected from WES). Should I modify my account on WES and remove this degree ? Any suggestions..

Just curious if there was any update on CIA. WES has an option whereby the transcripts can be send by the applicant provided its in a sealed and stamped envelope.
