Is it wise to apply for jobs in Quebec before landing?

I was recently granted the PR but I have not completed my landing yet. I had some contacts in Canada so I asked around for jobs and I got a response from a company in Quebec. They want me to send them a copy of my COPR (dont know why) and they will let me know if any suitable roles are available.

I am worried that if I send them a copy of my COPR, they might enter some details in some system and it will magically show up when I'm landing and it will show my intent to settle in Quebec.

You can't land in Quebec unless you received your PR through Quebec immigration.
Oh yea I understand that. I plan to land in Vancouver. I am just wondering if its okay to talk to companies in Quebec about an eventual job opportunity before landing. I don't know how the systems in Canada work in terms of information sharing between provinces.

I am concerned that if I talk to a company in Quebec about a job, they might enter some info somewhere which might show the Immigration Officer at Vancouver airport that I have been talking to people in Quebec about a job.

Don't work in Quebec to avoid any complication if possible. You still need to apply for citizenship and they will trace back.

Here is one of the example: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/citizenship-interview-took-a-wrong-turn.551625/

CIC will not know that you are interviewed by a Quebec company. This is okay. And you can go anywhere after landing as PR as long as you did not get your PR through PNP and demonstrated that you will live and work in that province.

According to the law, an employer cannot ask if you are a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, has a work permit or ask to see your social insurance number during interview. They can only ask you whether you can legally work in Canada.

DO NOT give them your COPR. You should say that you can legally work in Canada and will be responsible for that answer.
