yes. i also asked some friend. who received PR. they said that the processing time about 18 -24 month. now processing time show on CIC 31 july only use for new application reopen 15 august. we should patient and wait. hope some new i heared so true. good luck Tuyen huynh

Ya.... all my friend applications , submitted to HK from 1st August 2013, they landed o 2017!!! But it depends on officer who review our docs...so, we have to be relax n forget it!! All road wil lead us to Roma! Hehe

Why did processing times information change?
In July 2018, we changed the way we show processing times for some permanent resident applications who haven’t applied yet. These new processing times are an estimate of how long we expect most applications will take to process under normal circumstances.

These times are based on the number of current applications waiting to be processed and how
quickly we expect to process them. They are more accurate for new or recent applicants.

Nope since a day of request!-4,5 months!! I know some people who pending more than 20 months, they send email n make a call to ask n they know which stage they was... should we do like them?... Wait, wait.. we couldnot do anything in country n we are old to start all things there!!

Really It’s a very sad state of affairs . I fail to understand why nobody cares to correct the length of the immigration process . The waiting period keeps on increasing.
Yes, You are correct we are not getting any younger as the days pass by .

I just hope that the new timing applies to people who have not yet sent in their federal applications. This is what I have understood from their CIC site. It’s so sad that that other provincial business streams have a processing time of 15-18 months and Quebec stream is saddled with 46 months. It’s so very unfair.
