Transferred settlement funds to another account

Hi guys,

Is it ok that I changed accounts for my settlement funds? The bank statement I provided (AOR 3 month ago) showed my Savings account. However, the interest rate there is so tiny, so I decided to open another account in the same bank with the higher rate.

Do you think it might affect anything?

I dont see why it would. As long as the account is still in your name

Ideally it is suggested to not close accounts which have been provided for PoF. Now if it all there is a ADR to show funds again, you will need to explain that you moved accounts. But you could have done without it.

No, I am saying in case they raise an ADR, sometimes they ask for updated PoF you will need to explain this fact. For now don't do anything.
