Good Day members.. Posting again my same concern.. Please advice

Just wanted to know that CIC phone number that we use to call to get updates on our case, works 24/7 or we have to make sure that we call during Canadian working hours..
Thanks !!
If you are looking to talk to an agent, you would have to call during Canadian working hours (8AM to 4PM).

There is not set procedure it seems. Convention says that after eligibility met, it goes for BG check as service agent said. Perhaps, an officer at the end go through all the recommendations (including eligibility) on the application before giving a final green flag. Eligibility status only changes on profile in the end, not before (so could be anywhere in the process). What matters is recommendation 'met' as most likely officer will follow that recommendation. Hope this helps but I am not expert as in the same boat as you.
Helpful.. and more importantly.. reassuring to know that there is a good chance that the final officer is likely to accept recommendation for my eligibility.
Also, if conventions hold true, my status could move to IP1 to IP2 soon as BGC is the next step as per convention. But, I guess, no point expecting (very difficult to not to:confused:) and becoming anxious. What else can we do but wait..! o_O

I am sorry for my incomplete question. Is it ok after uploading additional requested docs for the status of review of docs to be the same for a week? It hasnt changed since the AOR any advice?

Hi guys Is it ok after uploading addiotnal requested docs for the status of review of add docs
I am not 100% sure I understand what u said.
Assuming you asked if it is OK for status of ADR to change to 'Docs is being reviewed' after uploading the required docs, the answer is - Yes, it is normal and everyone gets that status. It will change to 'Not Applicable' once they are done reviewing it and are satisfied.

Yes.. this too is fine.
My ADR status changed to 'Docs have been uploaded' after about 8-9 days of uploading the docs as per request. It subsequently changed to 'Docs being reviewed' and then to 'Not Applicable' within next 2 weeks.
Hope this helps.

I did call them. I was told as long as the file status is “uploaded” then i just have to wait. I just was concerned since so many people are saying that their status changed instantly or in a couple of days

It depends a bit which documents were uploaded as ADR - if it's like a PCC, it's likely going to stay in the same status for a long time as it's an integral part of the background check and probably won't change to "Not applicable" until the application is approved.
Actually they asked to upload my CV and student information request form. I uploaded them the next day and its been a week and nothing has changed on my status

ohh i think it's depends if they update your profile, i submitted additional documents on July 4th, however up till now it shows that they are reviewing documents provided...!!
