Hi,
I am married with a 3 years old son,my wife is a MSc student here in canada and I have a full time job on an open work permit.
Our CRS score has been lower than 440 applying together,is it possible for either of us to apply indicating that you are not bringing your spouse along just to go above that Mark?

Yes - you can list your spouse as non-accompanying in your application.
