H&C take longer than typical renewals. No the poster would not qualify for a travel document unless he/she relinquished their PR. Unfortunately you may not have your answer before the start of the semester. Getting approved is what you should really focus on.

Hello, anyone here from March 16? My file has been in process from 28 june, when i call ircc they say everything looks good.. but i still dont have my card. Can anyone share some info with me please? I am very anxious

f you meet the RO yes you can apply for a PRTD. Some embassy have a pretty long processing time. The other option is to land in the US and go through the land border by private vehicle. You can show your COPR or expired PR card.

I am looking for my chances of getting US tourist visa or study visa to cross into Canada without getting reported.

If your PR card is expired your chances of being reported are almost guaranteed. You have already filed for PRTD so you've already started the process.

I have filled a renewal application not PRTD.

I have a hope that they will accept my H & C reason of being removed being minor at age of 13. I provided all the reports of my grandmother’s illness since 2010 and doctor’s note stating it.

I think you gonna get your card mailed next week! That's what happened in my case.

Today its 19 July but still i have not yet received my PR card they mail my card on 14 July normally how many days it take for mail from NS to Mississauga ontario so stress i dont know y still card not yet arrived

3. We started processing your application on July 11, 2018.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on July 14, 2018

Hopefully it arrives via mail , leave for vacation next Tuesday. Woah - so excited and relieved I don't have to deal with travel documents etc. YAYYY!!!!!!!!1

Yes i didnt receive it man last year i lost my card in the mail so thats y i am worried i hope to receive it tomorrow allot of stress man hope this process will over soon
