Bro.. GIC means Guaranteed Investment Certificate. It is a proof that you can support your basic needs like food and rent for 1 year in Canada.
You need to open an account and transfer 10200CAD to Scotiabank or ICICI Bank Canada. They give you a GIC certificate after that.
When you enter canada.
You are given 2000CAD.
and the rest 8000CAD are given to you in equal installments.
An alternate to Gic is Student Loan.
That's all i know about it ,
I also transferred 10200CAD , but due to some reason they didn't accept it , so i sent it again on 25th June , but till now i haven't heard from scotiabank.
