Email them Sunday night. Just ask them under the circumstances describe the fact that they child is in distress and needs to be with her father and you off course now that she has lost her mother. Tell them you though the embassy would deal with the matter quickly on human and compassionate grounds and you and her Father booked the child's ticket for x date.

Tell them if necessary someone can come and pick up the passport and documents if necessary.

I've realize once they send your application to KVO we dont really hear anything from them unless they need more info... it's our spouse that will get the next instruction
