No, I didn't, but my spouse had medical done in june 2017 when he got his work permit. His work permit application was before our PR application, Jan 2017.

So, shld we both get MR done or wait for the request?

File Received 16 Feb 2017 (Inland SINP)
AOR 31 March 2017
Medical Request: 28 Feb 2018
Medical Done: 2 March 2018
Medical Passed: 8 March 2018
Didn’t got ghost update as my account was not linked. Received PPR email on my personal Gmail account.

As per your timeline you supposed to get MR by last March 1st week.
Something webt wrong;
You got pre-arrival letter means you passed eligibility. This is clear.
What CIC asked in the additional documentation?
In GCMS notes you passed criminality?

Usually, MR delayed for the applicants who added spouse in the middle of the federal PR process (or) If you and your family member did Immigration medical exam in the past one year CIC won’t ask for medicals until they expires.

I have a question, but before I get there I need you to understand my situation.
My application was received Feb 27, 2017
AOR April 21, 2017
Request for additional information- schedule A, Dec 8 2018
Pre arrival services letter, Dec 11 2017
SINP inland paper based application
Additional information has since been submitted, but I still haven't gotten Medical Request yet.

I applied for ATIP privacy act last month to see what was going on.
Too many jargons to understand, but one thing was clear, it say in bold letters, MEDICAL REQUIRED FOR ALL APPLICANTS. but I never got a request, and I don't know exactly what they are waiting for. So here's my question.
Should I go ahead and get an upfront medical done or should I keep waiting for the request?

Dont worry about that, and just do upfront medical.

ainp inland recieved 10 jan 2017
file number: 17 mar 2017
nothing after that
so i did upfront medical on 19 april 2018
medical passed on 11 june 2018
now waiting for ppr

Some July,17 applicants didn’t get MR

This is the reason you didn’t get MR.
My suggestion is wait for MR. Because if you do pre-medicals again you have update it CIC. Updating procedure takes more than 1.5 month. (This is purely my personal suggestion)

Don’t misunderstand me. You just started run before 7- months ago. In this forum /thread lots applicants waiting more than 18-months.
Your day will come.Don’t be in a hurry. Don’t expect anything from CIC until 16-months completed.
