Hi,

I am from India and employed in IT company. I have a query regarding Work Experience Letters required to be uploaded in Express Entry Profile once ITA is received.

Query:
I was employed by Infosys in past for over 4 years and I do have Experience letter from company stating my name, the joining and relieving date and my last designation at the company. Is this letter suffice to be uploaded under work experience letter in CIC profile.

CIC site mentions below requirements:
Letter should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits;

So, information highlighted above in bold and italics is missing from my Experience letter from Infosys.

Do i need to get separate letter from Infosys HR with all the required details or will the experience letter i already have is suffice?

letter without roles and responsibilities will not be sufficient as per my knowledge. If possible get the new letter with all the details including duties and responsibilities.

You will be able to find more details from experts regarding he same in threads like one below:

Try to get one with the missing info. You can also get different letters - maybe one from HR starting salary and another signed affidavit from a colleague or manager that states the duties. Or something from HR that states that they cannot provide salary or duties in their letter. Here are some links that have more info and good ideas:

If you can't get any of these the only recourse would be to add things like paystubs and your job offer letter that states your duties. But there is no sure way to say if CIC will like these.

Here is a complete solution for your query:

You'll need these:-

- Work experience letter: Issued by your company.

- Job description letter: Your company would most probably not issue you this letter. Best bet is to ask one of your colleagues/seniors working in that company to sign this letter for you. It's a valid doc by IRCC. Just print a simple paper with your job duties and get it signed by one of your colleagues/seniors working in that company.

You should also submit these, along with the above,
- Pay stubs (first and last 2 - 3 months of your employment)
- Income tax certificate by IT department of India (Form 16) for the years of your employment.

For the format of work experience letter-

For format of JD letter,

Hope it helps.

Hi, Could anyone help me know the consequences of not having a job at the time your CRS score matches the draw score. I have had a job experience of 3.8 years at a leading MNC in Software Development domain. However, I am in the notice period currently and I am preparing for higher studies. As per the Express entry profile, I believe I have sufficient job experience (i.e 3+ years) but I have no idea whether we are expected to be serving at a job when we get invitation for documents upload?

Anyone who has any idea of this, please let me know.

My employer says they can't give "salary details" on the reference letter even though my manager is willing to grant me that document. What should I do?

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but if my experience is remote, how can I show it in the experience letter? Is there a certain format for that?
Thanks
