I don't want to call because that takes up their time too. It's just frustrating because it's a postcode lotto. People who applied long after with less time in the country are already citizens. I'm wondering why 2 offices seem to have had no movement at all from IP. I recognize they're smaller offices but I would still expect to see movement for some applications. I suppose I will have to put my frustration and money into PR renewal instead. I don't want to be without for travel purposes. Thank you all for your supportive responses.
I agree with you. It raises frustration. But then I asked why am I putting a time scarcity on my application. Even if takes me two years to get my citizenship, I am ok with it. I am not in race with anyone. It is not like if I get it sooner than you, I get any special treatment or trophy. It is not stopping me from accomplishing any of my life's priorities, activities or goals.
I understand people are in situation where they have to go out for few months and nothing to take away from them. I am only speaking for myself. But, I found it frustrating only when I allowed it to become frustrating. People are counting days, and some are counting seconds as if they don't get it in next few months, they will loose their status in Canada. We attract what we think the most. If we are thinking frustration, delays etc, that is what we attract.
Have patience, enjoy the summer, get busy achieving your goals and citizenship will come !
Best wishes !
