How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

Few applicants are waiting from 3-4 weeks for visa stamping after approval. It really takes so much time just for stamping ?
One query Does online CIC status changes to approved only after visa stamping ? My passport request came but final decision is still processing

It took me 7 working days for visa stamping at New Delhi visa office. The status changes to approve only after visa stamping on passport.

I guess copr is case specific, some applicants 7 days some 3-4 weeks; this should then mean ppr request generally means PR acceptance but NDVO does conduct additional checks perhaps.

Any one submit ppr end of May?

Did you call VFS customer care?

I called them . They dont have any ingo. I also wrote an email to the delhi team. Apparently they take 15 days to reply and usually dont give pp status

My status chaged to approved in CIC website on friday, so i guess passport must be ready to pick up in next 2-3 days

Submitted on 30th May, on 1st june early morning i received 3 messages (SMS) that on 31st may your processed passport is forwarded to Chandigarh. Funnily yesterday morning i got sms that your application is received at NDVO on 30th may. And VFS site has same message ever since that your application is processing at NDVO.

So it shows processing on the vfs website but approved on the cic?

Yes, status chged to approved on cic website next day of passport submission

Might as well chip in this thread while I'm waiting.

Passport sent via VFS Global Dubai on 5th May. Received the standard "passport is being processed" email the next day.
Still waiting & my application still hasn't updated yet.

Received my passport back along with COPR today.
However, my IRCC profile still has not been finalized. Guess it should update in a few days.

Any idea about how long SGVO takes for visa stamping? My passport was received by SGVO on 21 May and I am yet to have any updates. Any chance of rejection after PPR? Getting anxious!

This is ridiculous My husband submitted his passport on May 22nd and still haven’t got it back 3rd week has already started and still nothing. There just putting a sticker on the passport and now new applicants got PPR they can pile up our passport like this...

Looks like their printer broke and they waiting new printer from canada.
Generally its 7-8 working days process. There are many people whose approval was in 15 days but waiting from over a month for visa stamping.
Worse is ; there's no one to get info, just mails whose reply comes after 30 days

Then why issue more pprs? I’m already sick of waiting

I just saw an update on VFS site "your processed passport has been dispatched on 05/06/2018 to chandigarh". Check your account also
