I had an International Experience Canada Visa for a year, so I don't think that it was an extension...Was it an extension? If it is, your application is still under normal processing times.

If that's the case, you should phone CIC tomorrow because your application already exceeded normal processing times.I had an International Experience Canada Visa for a year, so I don't think that it was an extension...
thanks for your help!! Really appreciate itIf that's the case, you should phone CIC tomorrow because your application already exceeded normal processing times.
And then there’s this; I’m still receiving EI payments because of my ‘implied status’. This is what the agent from Service Canada told me. I expected that they would see in my file if there was something not right...If that's the case, you should phone CIC tomorrow because your application already exceeded normal processing times.
EI does not affect your application in any way. I would call in and see what's up as previously mentioned. And then there’s this; I’m still receiving EI payments because of my ‘implied status’. Foreign nation and not other : out of status needs restoration?
If you are not eligible, you wouldn't be receiving EI. So, I guess you are eligible. And then there’s this; I’m still receiving EI payments because of my ‘implied status’. Hi, sorry. I started my day late. I chose "Other" then "Requires Restoration". Supposedly it's "Out of Status - Requires Restoration" but the box won't let me type the whole thing. Anyway, I also included a note why I needed a restoration because you will be asked that on the "Background Information" part of the form. In that part, I typed "Explanation attached on a separate sheet" because again, the box won't let me type a whole explanation. Hahaha! I honestly don't know why CIC gives us forms that they obviously didn't try to fill in themselves before sending them out for us.hi @iamvenus did you get a chance to check it? foriegn national or do i put other -> out of status, needs restoration?

Yes, I also did the same for the Sponsorship application plus attached the same note.awesome! thank you so much! did you put the same "other" the "requires restoration" on all of your forms?

I think that's the safe way to do . Apply it online, it should be done in 30 days I guess. Once you have submitted, you should be OK.Called CIC today and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. The machine did tell me that, if you submitted your application after February 10th, they haven’t started processing your application. 97 days processing time at the moment.
To be honest, to safe myself some stress, I think I’m just going to submit a restoration of status application, just in case. I read on the other thread what the other person is going through right now and that’s way worse than spending $200,- ,that I might not need to pay. Their OWP was denied because of being out of status and now they need to wait for the OWP until they get the PR in...
