IRCC agent said approved but no PPR coming

Guys, 10 days ago when there appeared a ghost update on my application status I called IRCC agent to see what happened and the agent said 'it was approved yesterday but the passport request letter is yet to sent out' and suggested me paying attention on emails as it might come soon.... However it's been 10 days the ppr mail still not come(spam box checked).

I am now a bit dubious about what the agent so called 'approved' really meant my application had been finalized or meant anything else?

But maybe it's really approved then anyone knows what could cause them to hold my ppr email if it is supposed to come soon as said the agent?

Also, anyone know which office (LVO or CPC Ottawa?) is responsible for sending out ppr email?

Yes, I got my PPR email on 5.30 morning 8:41 am Beijing local time (that means it's very likely the LVO sent ppr). Also few other Chinese applicants I knew got a ghost updates a day before and then all got PPR on the exact same day and same time as I did. You said you are in similar situation. I think if you meant a post-BCIP 2 ghost update you have also received then it's definitely a good sign/progress towards PPR if it's not meant PPR itself.

Keep waiting, I waited for 10 more days than those Chinese fellows I mentioned after I received the ghost update and the agent confirming its approval. I think my Local Visa Office tends to issue PPR in batches so they let me waiting for others' approval so they processes all the emails in one go.

If you are really concerned you can call IRCC at their work time using Skype if you are in your own country! All the best to you!

No. ther was a ghost update a week earlier. account shows "approved" message only after your visa is atamped. once visa stamped on passport, you can see the change in your status.
