need to correct mother;s name and maiden name.

Hi.

Would like to get suggestion how to correct this on my PR application in Canada.
Currently I have Canadian PR.
1) How can I update my mothers name according to Passport.
My mother recently got passport and her name got extra letters "amma" to her name.
This word "amma" meaning mother in my local language.
How can I explain to CIC about this and how can I correct her name to passport.
Is this going to be any problem to my status, Please suggest.
2) Second thing I want to correct mother maiden name.
At the time when I came to Canada I used mothers last name as maiden name, but now her passport shows her parent details which her last name is different from now.
How can I explain to CIC about this and how can I correct her name to passport.
Is this going to be any problem to my status, Please suggest.

But now I need to apply for Canadian Citizenship and is it good idea to correct Mother's name and Maiden name now?
or should I leave it as it was when a applied for PR. Please Suggest.

If I need to change should I submit an explanation letter along with Citizenship Documents?
Can some please explain how serious this problem will be in correcting Mother's name and Maiden name now.

Have you looked at the citizenship app? It doesn't ask for your parents' names. IRCC doesn't care that your mother's name changed a little bit.
