Where to send passport in the Philippines?

Good day brothers and sisters :) Can anyone enlighten me with this please. My parents have applied for visit visa to Canada online. Luckily both of them got messages in their cic accounts requesting for their passport. They are both presently residing in the Phillipines. On may 12, they sent their passports to Canada embassy with paid return mail with address in level 6 Tower 2 rcbc Plaza Ayala Avenue Makati City via LBC courrier. On may 14 they received a message from the courrier company that their passport was received by an authorized representative sg domeng Sandoval, I presume he works for Canada embassy manila. However, up to now we did not receive any uupdate. Now I am having doubts if their passport were already received by the Canadian embassy in Manila. Even more, I have read in some forums that the passports should be sent to vfs global, a Canadian visa application center in Makati and not directly to the address of Canadian embassy in Makati. I have emailed the Canada embassy, but they don't reply . I hope anyone can enlighten me. Thank you in advance :)

I send my application here in Cebu vfs global Canada last may 14 waiting for my feedback. may I ask if how long your brothers and sisters take to wait for approval. thank you and godbless!

Hi good day. My parents sent their online applications for visit visa on the second week of April. They received their approval for visit visa after three weeks. Did you apply online by your self? Or did you apply via vfs global? Thank you

I apply paper application and I send it through vfs global. im still hoping for positive feedback.

Hey Angela,

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Punta sa bank (where they keep their savings)


Step 2: Request for a Bank Draft or Manager’s Cheque payable to

“VFS Services Phils. Pvt. Inc.”


Step 3: Amount: PhP 948.00 (to appear on Manager’s Cheque)

Breakdown:
- courie delivery of applications to applicant, [303.00 PhP]
upon receipt from visa office (price per applicant)

- SMS Notifications [69.00 PhP]
- Secure transmission of passport to the [576.00 PhP]
embassy of Canada in Makati, Philippines
upon request by visa office - price per passport

Amount to be paid to the bank is PhP 948.00 + the bank charge (each applicant).


Step 4: at the back of the cheque, write

Name
DOB

Step 5: Put the following in big brown envelop (1 envelope for each applicant):

a. Passport

b. Letter from IRCC

c. Bank Draft or Manager’s Cheque

d. Printed Name, Mailing Address, Phone # and e-mail address on bond paper


Step 6: Go to courier and send envelope to:

Canada Visa Application Centre

VFS Services Phils., Pvt. Inc.

Mezzanine Floor Ecoplaza Bldg.

Chino Roces Ave. Ext.

Makati City 1231

Philippines

Hi everyone! Just want to ask if my husband can send his passport along with all other requirements to VFS Global in Makati through LBC?

I’m confused since in the passport request letter, it said there that “They do not accept passports and documents couriered to their office nor do they send visa packages by courier” - What does this mean?
