My husband is a PR in Canada, i came here in visitor visa. We filed an application for my work permit and PR on 9Feb2018. I was told that it usually takes 3 months for the work permit to come through. However i have still not received any response. What can I do?, who do I contact? Please help.

It takes 3 to 4 months on average, you're still within that time frame.

Is this a common practice to come to Canada on visitor visa then apply inland with OWP? Isn’t that risky?
