Ok, and the final bit of exciting news: we just got PPR!!!!!!! Mexico VO IS capable of processing applications rather quickly it would seem!!! We are 8 months and 17 days . Keep hopeful!!

I receive the SA yesterday saying the app will be transfert to Visa Office. We got Medical Request too
Do you know when they will ask for the PCC??
Because my wife want to visit me in Canada this summer, but we dont know when they will ask for the PCC

Yep. In your case, from what you told me, they are awaiting your clearance from respective departments.. as soon as you get that, the file gets requeued. So hold on. And I sent u pvt message yday night.

I am just wondering if it is normal that I haven't really been told yet if my husband is elegible to sponsor. I had the medical exam passed and the police certificate done a year ago but they are still processing my background check since last june. Is that normal?

It is hard to say when they will ask you for PCC, but it does tend to be at least 2 months after the initial transfer to the Visa office, and sometimes longer, from what other people on here have said. Maybe you will be lucky and it will be faster than that but it's good to keep your expectations low and be pleasantly surprised instead.

We officially received my partner's passport back with a Canadian permanent resident entry sticker in it! Feeling so grateful and still in shock Our flight lands in Toronto on June 7th! Very in love and very happy to be heading home! My Colombian partner has never met my family before and we've been together for six years! I think I might actually kiss the ground when we land. Best of luck to all of you and hang in there!

Hi guys!! What is next after medical exam? My application has been in process since January 05, it was transfered in April to Visas offices in Mexico then they asked for the medical exams and I sent it. How long does it take for the next step?
