Hello all, need some help. Anyone in this group submitted a pcc from UAE? I already submitted one with the application and UAE police do not provide hard copies anymore they just provide soft copies on email. Now today I received a request to submit original UAE pcc again. What should I do?

Just print a colored copy of the PCC and submit, they no longer provide paper originals its written clearly on the PCC,
i am sure IRCC would be aware of it.

Thanks bro I did the same and send it .I left dubai on November 2017 and I made a pcc again on August 2018 after I came to Canada. I print it and I send it as you said .As far as I know pcc does not expire after you have left the country and never visited .

The PCC does have a validity period on the PCC itself, which is usually 3 months,if you still have a valid residence or employment visa, even though you may not have visited, but you may have immigrant status.

its easy to apply for a new one, online, but you can also wait, for them to request again if they need it, it really depends on a number of things not only on the condition of visits.

The officer ask me to send a original police certificate and I courier it already and it’s deliver .But my my cic online account is still open and it says replacement needed and deadline is March 4.

Before on October also I uploadPCC through my cic account and I came to know they want original to see. So I courier but account is still open and deadline is reflecting.

Do I need to upload pcc in account too as I have deadline? Thanks

I guess you need to get a new one issued, as the validity is 3 months usually, better to apply a new one, and send it over,

No, you can't upload anything anyway. It takes time for them to open mail. As long as you sent it before deadline, you're fine.

Just an additional information guys, We had our test and interview earlier and the interviewer doesn't require us to submit our PCC(We applied online thru DXB police website).

As for our timeline, we arrived here in Niagara Falls Ontario Last August 2015.

The Interviewer specifically told us why do we need to provide the police clearance. Maybe It is a case to case basis wherein the interviewer will asked for it?

Just want to let everyone know our experience so that for those who live around Niagara region, IRCC will not require you to give PCC.
