That’s good news hopefully one of them is for Scarborough office. I hope my officer is not and parental leave or something because waiting almost 6 months for Oath Invite after DM is a drag.So fingers crossed for all of us who is still waiting.

One of them is my brother'-in-law's wife's cousin twice removed.

When your application status as DM, Officer cleared your file. It goes to Clerks for scheduling Oath and printing certificates....

Appointing new citizenship judges is a good decision. It will help to clear the back log and hopefully reduce the lengthy waiting time for oath invites specially for Scarborough office. The most affected are those who were first victims of change in policy for citizenship from 3 to 4 years residency requirement and again second time when there was long delay in passing the legislation to revert back to old system.
Logically that group should have been cleared on priority basis but for unknown reasons they are still waiting for citizenship oath invites.
Let us hope for the best now

I am part of this group, I would have been eligible to apply in January 2016 had the law not changed. I had to wait until last October to apply. Now I am here again, waiting with the Scarborough delay. I am glad that this is the last phase for me though.
