Hi, paper based patient friends.
Anyone here got the pre arrival letter and MR?

If you did...
-- How long after the pre arrival did you get the MR?
-- Did you apply from within Canada?
-- How many people, including you, are in the application?

Hey TommySan, I am a PNP paper-based applicant from Ontario and here's my timeline. I applied and got AOR in March 2017 (took a week for them to send me my AOR after Canada Post delivered my application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia office). Now to answer your questions:
1. Pre-arrival (mid Dec, 2017) to MR request (Beginning of Mar, 2018): 2.5 months
2. Yes, applied from within Canada, OINP paper-based (non-express entry)
3. This is for just me, that is, single applicant, no dependents

I have very similiar timeline.
OINP, paper based
Application received: March 2, 2017
AOR : April 3, 2017
Got RPRF request : Paid and submitted the receipt on December 13, 2017
Got pre arrival letter : December 12, 2017
BG changed from in progress to not applicable : December 12, 2017
BG changed from not applicable to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" : Feb. 27, 2018
Medical Request : March 01, 2018
Medical Passed : March 14, 2018

However it is really hard to predict, God knows what is their mesure to process the whole thing.
I saw April 2017 applied applicant got the PPR 2 days after the medical passed, and some 2016 applicants still waiting for the PPR.
Good thing is, it looks like they are getting faster.

I've received a pre-arrival letter on Mar. 7, and an email titled with "Important Update about your Immigration Application" from my local VO on Apr. 26. The latter one is also about pre-arrival services, but there's no corresponding update message from my CIC account. In my application status, both the eligibility review and the background check show "in progress". Now I'm still waiting for PPR.

Hi all. I just want to ask regarding the PCCs. i am a Filipino working in Bahrain. upon my submission for PR, the ones i included are the PC(NBI) from my home country Philippines and also here in Bahrain since this is where i am currently working. i was just wondering cause i have worked in GP Alberta, Canada last 2012-2015, do i have to include also the PCC from Canada? thank you to those who can answer and also how long does it take to have an AOR nowadays? My PR app was successfully received last May 1. thank you

Got my PPR thru ontario nomination FSW outland. Please check my timeline below. They cancelled my Nova Scotia based paper PR application and went ahead with Express entry based PR process instead.

Goodday house, pleeeease can anyone help me, i want to submit Paper based Application for Nova Scotia Express Entry in Demand, how do i get the form, cos the NSNP 100 which i filled and send to them only has 2 part to tick, one is Nova Scotia Experience and the other one is Skilled worker, so i tick the skilled worker own and they send me message that i have no job offer in canada.

Pls i want to know the right NSNP Paper base form i should fill and where i will send it to, i just need the correct link.

Don't build your hopes up. I've received pre-arrival letter at the end of January. Still waiting for PPR.

Thanks for the information. I once heard that PPR would come after Pre-arrival Letter in less than 3 months.

Hey guys,

My visa office is London . 1 of March CIC have asked me to provide my current residence permit card of uk , but I have a pending application with home office and I did provide a home office letter to CIC. After 2.5 months later on 15 of may, CIC again asked me to provide a explanation letter of my pending application .

What do u guys think??? Am I in trouble or still there is hope????

Appreciate for any advice.
