Hi Guys,

I am a landed immigrant from April 15th 2018. I have to travel abroad on june 18th. I don't have PR card yet, just have COPR. I am not sure what complications will it create if i travel with out PR card?

Called CIC, they said that i could request for travel document from outside canada however it doesn't make sense since its processing takes time considering my abroad stay is just 4days.

CIC told i could entry via US border by car. they could let me in with just COPR. Is that so?

If you are traveling on June 18th then their are good chances that you will get PR card before you travel abroad. Yes, you can enter Canada through US border using COPR if you travel by private vehicle or rental car.

Hi! Have you received your PR card already? I'm a new immigrant as well. I landed on March 31 and same as you I have to leave Canada on May 30. I still haven't receive my card.
