Hi all
We landed in Vancouver with a detailed list of goods to follow. Our immigration officer was really kind and told us that there are a couple of things missing especially around electronic items. She said we need to provide the serial numbers of all Laptops and External Hard Disk we plan to bring over, she also said we should provide them with the VIN of the vehicle we plan to bring with us.
Since I didnt had that information handy (we planned to return to US after landing and then move permanently in the near future) she said I can declare these items any time in the next one year before moving to Canada.
We are getting ready to make the move but my confusion is how do I update the goods to follow list with these information.
Can any one please help me out here.
