My PGWP is expiring soon and WP extension was refused!

I have been in Ontario since 2011. Studied here and received my Diploma. Been working full time for past 3 years. Have 8 overall bands in IELTS but my CRS score is 421 and hence I have not received the ITA yet.

My PGWP is expiring in two months. I applied for the extension but it was refused because of not having positive LMIA

I am now applying for OINP under Foreign Worker With Job Offer stream - do I need LMIA for this?

Any genuine suggestions will be much appreciated- Thank you

did you get OINP nomination, yet?
If Yes, you will get extension on the basis of nomination without LMIA.
If No, you won't get work permit extension

I have a co-worker who completed his Masters from York Univ and he received an ONIP is the last draw. He does not have an LMIA.

Did he apply in the same stream? I think he would have applied under masters category ... either way, if no LMIA is required, that is good. Thank you for your responses.
