so true. All application from Feb and March are so under stress. It takes so long

I wonder why there is so many people from Feb/March 2017 waiting and if there is anything we could do to accelerate the process. I'm happy to see other guys from April, May and June getting their approval but at the same time I find it so unfair...
Do you know what office is taking care of your process?Same here... But honestly I gave up trying to understand it. It will come when it comes... I have done my part and I'm tired of losing sleep time over it LOL

Ecas is now showing in process for both Sponsor and PA.
I also received a phonecall from IRCC this morning and was told my work permit has now been authorized and will be issued today! And that I should get it in the mail within 5 business days! (I applied whilst out of status but left for a short trip to the UK and re entered Canada) Happy days!

Try calling them around 3:30pm. I always seem to reach them at that time. Also, maybe try submitting your questions through their webform? From my experience, the more you bug them - the better
Keep calling . I am March 15 and still waiting. I have called and sent a request through webform, and today I went to the MP to get some info about my application (They will reach the officer to give me an update). I'll keep you post it.

That's what I am kinda confused about to be honest, I wasn't expecting the work permit to be issued until then myself so I'm not sure. Also forgot to mention when I my Vistor Visa expired after the application was sent back, I applied for restoration within the 90 days.
Hi sorry but it’s still confusing . U do need a visa to travel out and in to the country. Out of status and implied are different. And do u receive the AIP because if u received work permit without AIP that means u were in status not out of status
Yes I applied for an ETA in order to re enter Canada. Upon entry, they just asked why I was coming to Canada. And I mentioned that I have an application for PR in process and that was basically it. Also, they haven't even started reviewing my eligibility so I don't think I would have received AIP at this stage.
