My Husband got the email for oath ceremony same as u. and nothing updated on ECAS.

Can he print out the forms that attached to the email properly? I am still trying to figure this out.

Any news from the peoole who did the test on Feb 16 and still waiting for DM? It is 2 month and half after the test and still no DM for me!

Not necessarily true! So many people passed their test way after feb 16! Many of them even on March and April and already got their oath invitation and even already their citizenship! So I don't get why our group of the feb 16 didn't !

Really? Sorry I didn't know that. Must be something with the processing of this particular batch...

Guys, I received the invitation for the oath ceremony this morning.

Surprisingly it was sent by email. Looks like our Ottawa office has indeed switched to email communication. Also ecas has not been updated yet.

Hi,

First you download the .png file which is attached to the mail and than print it out or from the mail, click on the file save the file in .pdf formate and than print it out.

Question to all Ottawa Applicants.

After test, in how many weeks oath invitation is coming? My Test Date : 4th April 2018 and ECAS status is DM. Now waiting for Oath invitation. Anyone who passed the test in April who got invited?

Unfortunately, not yet I've been reading around the forum and it seems that there are many similar cases. Some applicants have had their test in Jan/Feb and are still waiting. According to many applicants, this may be due to the security screening process conducted by CSIS or RCMP. Most of them did not even receive a FP request. In my case, I will simply cross my fingers and wait as contacting CIC won’t be of much help. I already know the typical answer: Your application appears to be in process and you’re still within the 12 months…
