TRV (online) applied outside Canada November 2017,Please share your status here!!

Yes you’re are right I know ppl who got refused and applied again and got approved and in Canada now where as I’m still stuck here waiting for my **** TRV decision.

Well how long would it take to reschedule the interview now ? My file got transferred on 9th April and it’s 02 May today ???
A complete file is with them What else they want what is taking too long to reschedule the interview date ?

I know... my eligibility passed dec 19
I am assuming criminal passed for me as security is the last stage of checks. I’m angry as well and ready to give up. Everyday my friends are going to Canada and I feel horrible they all tell me they got their visa and make me feel bad cuz mine is pending 6 months. my best friend is going to Canada in may to study and I can’t even go to visit I even know people who got refused and they apply again and get approval before me... it’s so sad

Nothing to say except that they are lazy and not caring. They should prioritize applications according to the situation, It's obvious that your situation is that you are ONLY waiting for a new interview date. Did you apply online or paper?

Did you know Riyadh embassy has stopped taking direct emails, if you wanna contact the only way is web form and you know it takes ages to get a response.

I sent 2 web forms inquires no reply as yet.
I tried to call no answer but finally thank god today they answered and I had a chat with the lady in the VO.

I explained her about my situation that I’m in Saudi for 3 months only and visa is going to expire next month so the reason I got my file transferred in Riyadh office to get my Interview done here.

It’s an urgent matter so please help me it’s 1 year since I applied and I Wanna do interview before I leave I don’t wanna get my file transferred again to a new place.

So she said has he can help sending direct email to “VISA SECTION” as a reminder.
She thn asked me my details and forward the email from her desk to visa section fans advise me to wait now they’ll contact me.

So let’s see when I’m lucky enough to get a reply from the VO.

Dear Mr. Bryanna,
With reference to TRV (Online), I am thinking to make one PDF file of LOE (letter of explanation) like:
First page (Contents)
1. Cover letter
2. Travel itinerary
3. Family Ties
a) Marriage Certificate
b) Birth Certificates or FRC (Family Registration Form)
c) Child enrollment certificates in School
4. My car leasing contract
so and so


And then i shall merge all documents according to the index/content page. I mean the order of attachments will be according to the above stated 1st page.

Will you please suggest me if it is OK.

1 complete year is gone and I haven’t got the decision yet isn’t it crazy ?

Applied 02 May 2017 and today is 02 May 2018.

I took them 12 months to decide and still deciding.... it’s just crazy like beyond craziness....

I don’t know what to do now I’m broken I have no more patience I can’t take this anymore

I was just thinking about you and I was wondering what had happened. If you had heard from IRCC, I'm sure you would have immediately posted it here.

I feel terrible about the situation you're in. But, the only way out is to go through the entire process. You cannot even opt out if you want to. You just have to continue until the logical end/a decision is given.

Don't lose hope. You've been so strong this one year and you have survived all the challenges. You'll get through this last hoop too

Just keep the faith.... and you know that kira260, so many other well-wishers and myself have our fingers and toes crossed for you

Thanks so much for always supporting me and cheering me up. But trust me it’s getting harder now it’s getting really really hard to wait and just wait....

I was trying to call the VO in Riyadh from last couple of days no answer.

Finally today they answered and I spoke a lady at the reception/General information.

I explained her everything with the dates and my situation/stay in Saudi till next month only. I told her it’s an urgent matter it’s been 1 complete year now and the reason I got my file transferred here so I can do the interview while I’m in Saudi so how can I contact the VO it’s an urgent matter.

She thn said she can help me sending a reminder to “visa section” from her end she asked me for my details i.e Name,DOB and email. She advised me that now they’ll contact me.

What do you think ?

Hey @Bryanna Just wondering once security checks are done and passed ( dunno when that will be! lol), how long does it typically take for the final review to happen and what do they normally check in that. Do most people who have passed security get the visa shortly after if there is no interview?
