yeah I understand..... before i only read these forums as guest, i don't even have an account. the reason why i registered is because i got my PR so fast that i want to share this to everybody to give other applicants hope. i don't understand why ppl will lie about this, it's not like they get paid to lie...i got lucky doesn't mean i didn't wait, doesn't mean I'm not one of you that was desperately checking update in my account. I know it's unfair but it mean more possibility and faster process time. All i can say is jealousy is a horrible horrible thing. Hope you all the best.
I personally believe you guys, I don't see a point in lying like that. Wishing you all the best and good luck!

Hey all,
Long time lurker, 1st time poster here.
Just wanted to see if my timeline fits everyone's
MPNP inland PGWP applicant.
App received April 2017
AOR July 2017
Medicals passed in MyCIC 11 April.
Background in progress.
Called CIC a week ago they told me they got everything and all is well.
Waiting for PPR now right?
I guess another month?
Thanks.
I'm also April applicant, waiting for the last part of the background check to be initiated. Not sure how long it might take.

no, IP2 doesn't indicate that the security check has started. I've been on the IP2 since Feb 27
Okay then, what is the indication? They requested police certificates back in Feb. And the guy on the phone said that the only thing left is the security check.

another weird thing, i went into IP2 first, then they sent the pre-arrival email, then requested police certs and then medical. So i've been in ip2 for awhile too.

Today is April 27th, so I'm hoping those people who got the IP2 on Feb. 27th would get the PPRs today.

How do you guys identify between IP1 and IP2. Inland applicant’s background status doesn’t change right?

same here. the last thing is security check. getting PPR will be your indication that it's passed :)

sorry to say that but no, there is nothing that indicates you'll get your PPR tomorrow.
Pre-arrival letter indicates your eligibility has passed.

awww that would be awesome. but I called CIC two days ago and they told me my security hasn't started, so I'm afraid I won't be the lucky one.

Exactly same timeline and MPNP too... Looks like a wait of another few months

it does change. I was lucky to catch that brief change from IP2 to NA and then to IP2.
Does it change for those who submitted all the documents upfront? I can’t remember any such change. Doesn’t it notify when something changes?
