You should rephrase to "Dear new Canadian citizens" . Being a "senior"(if there is such a thing) in this forum doesn't mean that you are actually a citizen and if you are you might got your citizenship before the 150 celebration(2017)

Took a LONG time between the test date and the decision made date. I'm assuming its due to extensive travel history.

Congrats, I applied around on week after you and I am still at Nov 22. I didn't travel outside Canada except for one week in 5 years.

guys, I was notified to appear and write the citizenship test on May 23, 2018 at 7:45 AM. two questions:
Is it possible to call and make it earlier?
if the test is at 745 am, when should I expect to be done? I am wondering if I should take the whole day off.

Not sure. I did have to provide with entry/exit stamp translation after my interview. May be that caused the delay
